Where my software calls home
I had a bunch of power fluxwations
Published on March 27, 2007 By Sugien In Bug Reports
because of the power fluxauations I had to keep going back in and loading in the autosaves and then I took to doing quick saves until I figured out it was a faulty serge protector that was turning my pc off. I don't know if that is what happned or not; but I am *very* certain that I started the metavers **before** starting the game and then after only my second military vicory and to be frank quite the best game with the most fun I have played so far, that dang game would not go to the post screen it just would go back to the entry screen. I would think how ever if the game thought I was cheating by going out and back into with the saves to keep something from happening that instead of just going back to the intro without letting me post my score that it would have just set the cheat flag. I know I loged into the metaverse before I started the game but not each time after my pc shut off; but before when I had started a game and then had to stop for a while and then came back I just hit the load saved game without loging into the metavers and then at the end of the game it would just tell me to log on after asking if I wanted to post my score to the metavers. So my question or bug is *What Gives* Will I just loose the best game I have played so far?

Please zip up the save and send it to support@stardock.com with a note that you started it as a metaverse game, but do not get a submission prompt on completion.

I would but I already started and played and won a tech vic on another game:( I can not zip it up because it is no longer there; because of the auto saves and quick save I did. I will however put that in my remember file for future referance should It happen again. I only play metaverse games; because I haven't tried mods or the cheats yet. I use to play empire earth and age of empires; but they got too easy, and now I sort of look at these like the same thing but in space, lol. Maybe I should suggest a future expancion pack where you have to attack the planet like empire earth instead of it just being a roll of the dice like it is in this game

I have another question, I have played 13 games , 3 beginer 1 cake walk, and 9 normal. So I am wondering why on my medalians it still says beginner?

The cakewalk (Difficulty 1) game pulls your average difficulty down just below 4.5, so it rounds to Beginner.

So because my very first game I tried it at the easiest setting first is going to keep pulling me down? Dang had I known that I would not have even posted that win to the metaverse. I can easily most times now win a tch vic; but I have taken to doing a quick save just before hitting the last turn so that I can come back in and practice battle tacticts. I have found that the AI can get real snippy with you. I had a large fleet sitting around the worlds of the smallest AI world and the AI pops up and says (somehtiing like this I don't remember it word for word but the jesit of it was) "Do you think I don't see your ships ready to attack? You must be use to playing video games and it shows. Your lucky my generals are only set to normal inteligance or else they would have wiped you out long ago"
